The Prescott-Russell Recreational Trail is a 72-km stone dust trail built on an old railway and is linked to Ottawa's and Quebec's cycling networks. Five pavilions are located on the trail in the villages of St-Eugène, Vankleek Hill, Plantagenet, Bourget and Hammond and where you will find a parking area, picnic tables and sanitary bloc. Enjoy the trail by bike or on foot and practice your favourite activities such as bird watching, photography, or even stargazing. For the sports(wo)man or the nature lover, walking or cycling the Recreational Trail will take you through Prescott-Russell and will let you discover the diverse landscapes of wooded sections, agricultural, residential and even wetland areas.. Prefer the roads? Why not try one of the 11 suggested cycling routes, which most are linked to the Recreational Trail.
